Willow Springs second graders experimented with mixtures Thursday evening.

In an effort to address a second grade objective, educators created a night filled with science fun with mixtures. After families enjoyed a chili dinner, students created play dough, cheese dip, trail mix, pudding, and flubber.

Parents were praised for their commitment and involvement in their child’s educational experience.

Second Grade educators are already planning a project night for the spring. These evenings provide opportunities for parents and educators to join together and promote educational experiences for children.
