  1. Prom is finally here! Are you prepared? 

    • Locker notes will be placed before lunch TODAY.  Make sure you read through the reminders and ask any questions you have TODAY.  

      • Buses leave at 5:00 sharp, bag check will start at 4:30.

      •Re-read your letter so you know what to pack in your bags for project prom. You can't bring drinks on the buses or in your bags.

•You will pay the photographer at prom so keep your money with you.

  3. Seniors:  The General Form for local scholarships is due to Mrs. Munson by 3:00 pm this Friday.  There are also several other scholarships with April 1st deadline.

  4. If you registered for the April 9 ACT, your site has been moved to another location due to fewer than 16 students registering to test here.  Log into your ACT account and reprint your admission ticket.  You should also receive notification in the mail.

  1. Graduation items will be delivered next Friday at 1:30.  Check the list on Mrs. James’ window for current balances.   Acceptable forms of payment at delivery are cash or money order. . .NO PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted.  Josten’s ask that if you want to pay with a credit or debit card that you contact their office by April 6th.  Any questions see Miss Connie.

  2. Don't miss out on this year's yearbook!  The last date to order is May 6, so buy now.  They are $55 and you can order them at jostens.com or from Ms. Spencer.  Checks should be made out to Willow Springs High School.

  3. If you are interested in taking driver ed this summer sign up in Miss Connie’s office by Friday.  The class will run June 7th – 13th.  There is no charge for the class.  You must be 15 before June 7th. 

  4. Do you love faerie tales? Have you always wanted to be on stage? Are you between the ages 13 to 25? The Star Dramatic Company is looking for people to AUDITION for "Beauty and the Beast" written and directed by Kristi Cunningham. Whimsical * Fanciful * Playful - COME OUT - AUDITION – Saturday at 10:00 am and Sunday at 2:00 pm at The Star Theater in Willow Springs. If you have any questions please call 573-292-1009.

7th Graders:  No after school reading tutoring with Mrs. Brotherton this week.
1.  SPRING SOCIAL: On Friday April 8th, we will be having a Super Heroes Social from 5:30-7:00 p.m. (Grades 5-6) and 7:30-9:00p.m. (Grades 7-8). There will be music, snacks & drinks!!          Admission is $2.00.  Students sent to the office for misbehavior the week of the Social will not be able to attend the event and they must be present at school day of Friday, April 8th. (NO MASK!)
2.  Students who are attending the field trip with Mrs. Cochran on April 1:  Today you need to get any work that you will miss while we're gone on Friday from your white day teachers.  Also, on    Friday you need to check in with your White 5 teacher and then report to the library.
3.  All 6th and 7th Graders trying out for cheerleading:
  • Friday April 1st, Cheer Try-Outs will take place in Grimes Auditorium. You MUST attend all clinic days in order to try-out.

5.    Attention FB Players:  Offseason will be taking this week off. Starting the week of April 4th, Offseason will be only on Maroon Days after school and never on Fridays. 1.  6th Grade:  No after-school tutoring TODAY.
2.  5th Grade:  No after-school tutoring with Mr. Earls TODAY.
3.  No chess practice TODAY.
4.  Chess team took part in the state championship this past weekend, with Willow's 5th grade team taking 13th place out of 31 teams, and K-8 team placing 20th out of 32 teams. Drake Marshell (66th place out of 107 players) won 3 games out of 6, Rogan Traver (70th) and Caleb Ward (71st) had 2.5 points each. Patrick Burch (56th out of 123) and Auston Burgess (59th) each had 3 wins in K-8 division. Very tough competition with respectable results. Thank you for participating!
