For those students enrolled in college-level classes - The deadline to turn in dual enrollment forms is Today! Turn them into Mrs. Patton by the end of the day!

Interact Club meeting today during both lunches in Mrs. Miller’s room.  Only current members may attend this meeting.

Chess club starts meeting today right after school until 4:30 in the high school library. The first tournament is September 21 in Willow Springs. Yearly fee for the club is $15 per person. 

Board Game Club meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 to 7:55 Room 100.

FCCLA meeting will be tomorrow during both lunches in Ms. Bell's room. This is for current members and anyone interested in joining.

Football 5th Quarter will be held tomorrow night after the game at Pizza Americana. Open to all high school students!

FBLA is looking for some leaders to help us excel at District and State competitions!! We are also trying to increase our membership numbers. Join today by giving Mrs. Lee or Mrs. Pettit your dues.

Juniors- There are still football and softball games to sign up for!  Come by Ms. Berry's room to sign up!

All students interested in being in Pep Club there will be a meeting on Tuesday in Ms. James' room during FIRST LUNCH ONLY.  We will be electing a president and vice president.

1.    Students-When you come in to eat breakfast, you need to bring your backpacks and bags--do not leave them on the playground.  If you finish eating early, you can take them back to the playground with you. 

2.    If you walk home after school, you need to go home after the 3:00 bell.  You are not allowed to stay in the building and hang around practices unless you are involved in the practice.

3.   Attention 6th, 7th and 8th grade students: Mrs. Conway's book club will start Wednesday, September 4th.  Forms are available in the Student Info Center.  

4.   Registration is going on now for the YMCA Volleyball Camp which includes 5th & 6th graders.  Registration forms are available at the Student Info Center or you can pick one up at the YMCA.  The deadline to sign up is next Wednesday, September 4th by 5:00 p.m.

2.  Today is the last day to make any schedule changes. See Ms. Clary if you need to change your schedule.

3.  There has been gum left on lunch trays.  Do not put your gum on your lunch tray--throw it away.  If this continues, we will go back to an "absolutely no gum in the building" rule.

4.  From Dr. Spencer:  I appreciate how everyone has worked hard to make sure the halls look good:  lockers closed, bags on hooks, no trash, band instruments kept neat.  As long as you continue to be the great middle school student body that you have been, we'll have some music a couple of mornings a week.  Come see me with your school-appropriate requests!

5.  If you would like to player soccer or Mighty Mite Football, information sheets are available in the Student Info Center.

Schedule Changes will be processed as quickly as possible. Continue to go to the class on your schedule until a new schedule is put on your locker. Not all requests can be approved therefore you cannot just go to the other class. 

Remember to check your email frequently (i.e. once a day) as the offices will be communicating important information via email. We are trying to cut down on locker notes and interrupting classes to relay a message that can be handled in this manner. If the message is time-sensitive, we will still contact you in person.
