The Willow Springs School District has been made aware of the community-wide boil advisory now in effect. We are working on a plan to get through this short term problem. For the safety of staff and students, all bottle filling stations will be turned off during this advisory. Parents are encouraged to send a pre-packaged bottle of water with your student to school tomorrow if possible.a Bottled water will also be provided to students and staff until such time that the boil advisory is cancelled. The food service department is also taking all of the necessary precautions and following the guidelines of the boil advisory.
Thank you for your continued support.
Assisting students, faculty and staff with health, wellness and safety Michelle Ferguson, RN Ashley Forrest, RN Stephanie Gentry, RN Dear Parents/Guardians: In preparation for coming to school each day, we ask that you check your child(ren) for any symptoms/illness PRIOR to sending them on the school bus or dropping them off at school. You, taking the time to do this small step, will play a BIG part in helping to stop the spread of illness. Below, are simple screening questions you can use to determine if your child(ren) should stay home. Posting this on the refrigerator or by the door might help you to remember to check them before leaving the home.
If you answer “YES” to any of these questions, PLEASE keep your child(ren) home from school and contact your child’s doctor for further direction.
