Hallway Music: Today  - Student Requests

Speech and Debate students who will be attending the MSU Springfield tournament today meet in Ms. Martin's room at 11:45. Ms. Martin's 3rd and 4th block classes will meet in the library today. Bring homework or a book to read and work quietly.

Girls and Boys Basketball teams pictures will be Dec. 5th at 3:00 PM in the New Gym. Use the same forms as passed out before.

Cheerleaders pictures will be Dec. 12th at 3:00 PM in the New Gym. Use the same forms as passed out before.

Board Game Club meeting December 7th, Pearl Harbor Day,  Axis and Allies is the game of tradition. This will be a late game sign up in Mr. Wickens' room by Thursday. If you can not commit to a late night please refrain from signing up. 

Bears for a Better Christmas is in full swing!  We need your help!  This is a community service opportunity for any student in high school to serve and give back.  The sign up sheet is hanging up outside of Mr. Spence's office and we need you sign up to help before December 6th.  There are so many ways to help: help with spotting at the 5K, help with shopping (yes, we supply the money!), help us set up at MUNCH and best of all- help the families pick out toys, books, and warm items the day of the big event!  Don't be shy- Many people have said that helping at this event is one of their favorite memories in high school! If you have any questions just call Mrs. Brower or Coach Waggoner today. 

Elizabeth Kharitonova's senior project focuses on providing hygiene products for those in need & she is asking for your help. From now until December 14, you can drop off hygiene products that will be used to fill her Blessing Bags, in a bright, yellow box located in the Commons area. These bags will be donated to our local homeless shelters. A list of needed items can be found on the yellow flyers that are posted around the school. If you have any questions, please see Elizabeth K.

5.   The annual Bears for a Better Christmas 5K is scheduled for Saturday, December 8, at Munford Gym.  The kids 1-mile run begins at 8:30 a.m. The 5K run/walk will start at 9:00.

Main Street on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 6:45 p.m. for the purposes of taking comments from the public about designating a School Protection Officer or officers who will be allowed to carry concealed firearms within schools that are part of the Willow Springs R-IV School District.

The annual Bears for a Better Christmas 5K is scheduled for Saturday, December 8, at Munford Gym.  The kids 1-mile run begins at 8:30 a.m. The 5K run/walk will start at 9:00. Anyone who registers by today will be guaranteed a t-shirt. See Coach Waggoner for more information.

Seniors:Don't forget to turn in your research paper packet to Dr. Spencer's room before 3:00 pm today.  The list of what you need to turn in and in what order is on Canvas in the Final Paper assignment and written on her board.

Juniors -- Money to purchase tickets to see "Dickens' A Christmas Carol" at Silver Dollar City is due by 3 PM today.

Sally Hatton Memorial chess tournament is tomorrow, in the Bears Den. Registration is at 9, entry fee is $5. All chess members should attend. See Serghei for details. 

Zavory Roinuse's senior project simulation will take place next week on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday in Mr. Wickens room from 12-4.
