Due to a mess of sticky notes and other items that have been left all over the boys restroom. The restroom will be closed during classes for at least the next three weeks. The restroom will be open between classes.

Interact Club will be will be staying after school today to fill food bags.  Meet in Mrs. Wall’s room after school plan on staying until 4:30. 

Tonight at the Lady Bears basketball game, our 8th grade girls basketball team will be recognized for their undefeated season! We would like to see the gym full not only to support the girls but to also support our Lady Bears! Tip off is at 6 p.m., starting with the JV team. The 8th grade girls will be recognized during the halftime of the varsity game! 

February is National Heart Month. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. The good news is that it is also one of the most preventable. Tomorrow is National Wear Red Day, a campaign to raise awareness of heart disease in women. Wear red to show your support. Look and listen for heart health information throughout the month.

All basketball, cheerleading and band Seniors need to stop in Mrs. Pettit's room  and fill out the questionnaire?

Hoop Queen Sadie Hawkins (Girls Ask Guys) Dance will be tomorrow night, from 9-11:30 in the Bears' Den. Get your tickets today ($6 single/$10 couple). Tickets can be bought in Mrs. Walls room before and after school and during 10 minute break. The dance is semi-formal (nice clothes) and girls take the lead (buy the tickets and invite the guests).

Sophomores:  If you are interested in possibly attending SCCC (vo-tech) your junior and senior year, you will have an opportunity to tour their facilities and learn more about their programs on Thursday, February 8. The bus will leave at 8:20.  Plan to bring money for lunch.  You must sign the list on Mrs. Munson's door by tomorrow if you plan to go. A complete list of the programs offered next year is also on Mrs. Munson's door. 

Galena chess tournament will take place this Saturday, in Galena, MO. Bus leaves at 6:30 am from the new gym, back at 6pm. Entry fee is $7, bring snacks or snack money. See Serghei for details. 

A representative from Truman State University will be here Tuesday,  at 1:00 to visit with interested seniors.

Tickets are now on sale for Jace Hutsell’s production of,  High School (non) Musical
 February 22nd & 23rd tickets are only 6 dollars in advance or 8 at the door!
