The next GAP meeting will take place during lunchtime and Bear Time today. Pick up a sack lunch in the Bear's Den either when you hear the all-call or when the bell rings for lunch and then go to your GAP Adviser's location. You can find where your GAP group is meeting by looking at the posters on the window in the entrance to the library. Ms. Spencer's GAP group will meet in Mrs. Dillin's room. Mrs. Dillin's GAP group will meet in Ms. Spencer's room.
ATTENTION SENIORS: Want to earn some $$$$$???? The National Personal Finance Challenge is open and Mrs. Patton is looking for teams to compete. If you received an A in Personal Finance and would be interested in competing please stop by Mrs. Patton's room today for details. You must compete in teams of 4. Teams placing 1st or 2nd in the state will receive CASH!!
Seniors: You chose to go to the Springfield/Branson area for your senior trip. Ms. Spencer has a list of activities posted in Canvas. You have until 3:00 pm today to vote on some things you would like to do while you're there.
A college rep from College of the Ozarks will be here Tuesday at 10:00 to speak with any interested seniors or juniors that might be considering C of O.
Jostens will be here on Thursday, February 22nd from 1:30 until 3:00 for class ring and Letter Jacket orders. Stop by Mrs. Amanda’s office to pick up information sheets. You will need to bring your order form and deposit with you on Thursday.
SOPHOMORES: If you plan on attending SCCC (vo-tech) next year you will need to complete an application for approval. Even if you were not able to attend the tour, you can still apply. You can pick up an application from Mrs. Munson and must be returned by Friday, February 23.
Scheduling 101:
If you attend Vo-Tech, you can only earn 7 credits a year as opposed to 8. Since we require 30 credits to graduate, you cannot lose ANY credits if you attend Vo-Tech.
FCCLA and FBLA members it is time to buy your tickets for the Springfield Cardinals game on April 30th! $10 is due to Mrs. Walls, Patton or Pettit by March 2nd, the earlier you buy the better!
It is time to shop for Prom dresses! If you are needing an inexpensive dress for Prom come see Mrs. Walls or Mrs. Siler.
