1. 7th Grade Students interested in participating in the spelling bee need to meet in Mr. Smith's room TODAY at the beginning of M-4 for an informational meeting.
2. Students, we need to make sure that we are not printing unneeded copies of papers at our school printers. If there is an error message on the printer when you go to pick up your papers, and it appears that your papers have not printed, do not reprint them. Instead, find Mrs. Hopper or another teacher in the computer lab to help you. Reprinting is resulting in unneeded extra copies being printed, and this is an expense we need to avoid. Printer ink is quite expensive.
3. School will be in session on Monday, February 15th, for a snow make-up day.
4. The deadline to take (and pass) your fourth quiz on the Twain or Truman books and be eligible to vote for your favorite is Friday, February 26th at 3:00 PM. DON'T wait until the last minute, please!!!.5. REMEMBER our Pennies for Patients collection. This fundraiser, sponsored by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, raises money to help children and adolescents suffering from cancers of the blood. Last year our MS Bears were very generous and raised $1,721.88. The 7th grade class collected the most funds last year and was rewarded with an ice cream party. Let's see who can collect the most funds this year and win the party!
6. Yearbooks are now on sale! Yearbooks cost $20 and will be available to order until March 4th.
