Today:  Beef Taco, Salad/Tomato, Shredded Cheese, Carrots, Grapes & Milk

Breakfast Friday: Cinnamon Toast, Cereal & Milk

Friday Lunch:  Hamburger on a bun, Whole Grain Chips, Baked Beans, Apple, Ketchup and Milk

1.  Today-Art Club meeting after school. Parents will need to pick you up promptly at 5:00 p.m.

2.  Knights of the Square Table chess tournament will take place in Bears Den this Saturday, starting at 9 am. Entry fee is $5, all chess team members should attend. Concession stand will be available. We should be done by 3:30pm. See Serghei for info.

3.  Hannah Sorrells will be presenting a play " The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" for her Senior Project. Auditions for the play will be Sept. 22nd. There will be a variety of parts to audition for. Pick up a flyer in th Student Info Booth for more information.

4.  Don't forget the "Morning Mileage Walking School Bus" has begun. If you would like info on joining pick up a flyer in the Student Info Center.

5.  This week is Spirit Week for Homecoming! There will be a dress-up theme for each day.  Please note as with all Spirit Weeks before , no face painting, or glitter allowed.  Hats will be permitted when they fit the day's theme.  Students will be expected to be 100%  cooperative with teacher direction in all cases when hats need to be removed during class. 

Thursday- "Homies" Find a "homie" and dress alike on Thursday. Or, get three or four buddies together! Again, hats are permitted so long as they match a friend.
Friday- "THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME" Just like Dorothy said...show your pride by wearing Maroon and White!   
6.  Friday we will be attending the Homecoming Parade and Pep Assembly. The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. at Booster Field.  There will be an all-call at 2:10 p.m. prompting all Middle School classes to line up with their teachers along Ferguson Street in front of the Middle School Building.  Students will need to bring all their stuff as they will be going straight from the parade to the Pep Assembly. From there they will be dismissed from school. All students will be expected to be responsible about throwing any candy wrappers from the parade; leaving wrappers on the ground is not acceptable.

7.  Students belonging to the following Middle School teams will be participating in the Parade on Friday:

Volleyball
Football
Mighty Mites
8th Grade Marching Band students
Cross Country
These students will need to be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. on Friday to report to the bus lot to board buses headed to the start of the Parade at Booster Field.  They should take all of their things with them so that they are prepared to leave for home directly from the Pep Assembly following the parade.  

SPORTS: 

Today, Football- Home Game, WS vs Thayer, Game starts at 5:30 p.m.

Today, Pee Wee Girls Basketball

5th Grade Practice at 3:15
6th Grade , Game Tonight, Game starts at 5:00 p.m. Girls need to be there at 4:30 p.m.
Thursday 9/20, Cross Country@Rolla, 7th and 8th Grade, Dismiss at 1:45 p.m. Bus leaves at 2:00 p.m.
