1.  Today - Art Club will meet from 3:30-5:00. 

2. Congratulation to the 8th Grade for winning the"Color War" yesterday! Thanks for showing school spirit and participating in Spirit Week everyone!

3.  Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest (Boys and Girls, ages 9-14) scheduled for this Saturday has been postponed due to the winter weather forecast.  It has been re-scheduled for Sat. Jan            26th at 10 a.m.      

4.  Willow Open chess tournament moved to next Saturday, January 19th, due to possible weather. 
 
5.  Congratulations to these students that made the Middle School SCA Honor Band. They will be performing in a concert with students from other SCA schools on Saturday, Feb 2 in Ava.

6.  Student Council will meet on Monday Jan. 14th from 3:15-4:15 p.m.

7.  Friday, Coach Ashley will be having a meeting at lunch for any girls that are interested in playing Softball this year. Get your lunch to go and meet in the New Gym.

8th Grade will need to skip recess and get their lunch with 8th grade. Then proceed to the New Gym.

8.  Krysta Rader will be hosting a "Girl Empowerment" Gathering for her Senior Project. The gathering will include hair, make-up, nails and a short presentation on self-esteem.  This is only for 8th Grade Girls.  Please join her on Sat., Feb. 2nd at the Ferguson Building from 12:00p.m.-3:00 p.m. There is a sign up sheet in the Middle School office if you would like to attend. Sign up by January 25th.   

9.  The deadline to read 4 Mark Twain/Truman in order to attend the voting party is Feb. 20th. The deadline to read 10 books for the field trip is March 6th.

10. This week is "Spirit Week for Hoop Queen"! The theme this year is: Greetings From COLORFUL Willow Bear Country!

****Please note : As with all other Spirit Weeks before, no face painting allowed also no glitter.  Hats will be permitted when they fit a particular day's theme.  Students will be expected to be 100% cooperative with teacher direction in all cases when hats need be removed during class.

Today-Colors of Yesteryear: Throwback Thursday, dress from the past or past color trends (the fluorescent 90s....)
Friday-Colors of Pride: Wear Maroon and White
