1. Art Club will meet this Thursday. Remind your parents to pick you up promptly at 5:00 p.m.
2. 6th Grade M3 Classes stay the same for 4th qtr. as 3rd qtr.
6th, 7th, 8th- M4 Beartime Classes will be posted outside of the classrooms. Look for your name. If you don't see your name, go to the class you had 3rd qtr.
3. NO 7th Grade Tutoring today.
4. All 6th grade students will need to bring P.E. clothes and shoes on Friday for W8. Students who are in Mrs. Pitts's class or Mrs. Cochran's class for W8 will need to go to the Art Room or Library at the beginning of W8 on Friday for attendance before heading to the New Gym.
5. A special thanks to all 20 6th grade students who participated in this year’s try-outs for the annual spelling bee! Congratulations to the 6th grade finalists who will be representing the Willow Springs Middle School for the 6th grade entries:

6. The Spring Social will be Friday, March 31. The theme is DECADES....20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's...Come dressed in your favorite ERA. The social will be from 5:30-7:00 p.m. (Grades 5-6) and 7:30-9:00 p.m. (Grades 7-8). Students sent to the office for misbehavior the week of the Social will not be able to attend the event and they must be present at school the day of March 31, to attend.
7. As you may have noticed there is now a new drinking fountain on each grade level hall that includes a bottle filling station. To make use of the bottle filling station on your grade level's unit, follow these steps: 1. Remove the lid from your water container (clear plastic bottles or tumblers only--no oversized containers). 2. Place your container in the bottle filling area in front of the sensor. 3. Remove your container from the filling area before it is completely full.
Do not place any other items in the bottle filling area--the filling area is for water containers only.
8. There will be a special reward at the end of the 4th quarter for all students who meet the following criteria:
5th Grade: 95% attendance or higher during 4th quarter
6th Grade: No office referrals resulting in ISS, OSS, Behavior Lessons or Behavior Lunch Detentions
7th Grade: Criteria to be announced at a later date this week
8th Grade: Same criteria as for the Springfield Cardinals field trip
9. Don't forget the Morning Mileage Walking School Bus is going on now. Arrive at the track between 7:15 and 7:20 a.m. Hope to see you there!
