3. Congratulations to Heidi Wehmer for taking 2nd place for her Unicorn Pinch Pot Clay Animal, at the Art Around Town Art Show held at the West Plains Civic Center.
4. Willow Springs Middle School chess team was 8th in the state out of 27 teams at the tournament in Columbia past Saturday, with Drake Marshell, Owen Moore, Rogan Traver winning three games, Gabe Story with two wins. Way to go!
5th grade team of Josiah Wills and Vivienne Iacovleva won 14th out of 41 teams, Josiah with two wins and a draw, Vivienne with two wins.
5. Current 8th Grade Students: Boys or girls interested in joining the 2018 Color Guard Team, there will be a mini-clinic TODAY in the Elementary Cafeteria from 3:15-4:30. Tryouts will be at the same time and take place on March 21st. The mini-clinic is not mandatory but is highly recommended for all those new to Color Guard. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Gossard in the Elementary.
6. Award Book Field Trip forms are due by Wednesday. Turn them in to Ms. Holt in the library.
7. Reminder to 8th graders: Your parent/guardian will need to attend Scheduling Night in the High School library on Thursday, March 22 anytime from 3:00-6:00 p.m.to approve your freshman schedule.
8. 8th Grade Girls interested in playing Basketball next year. There will be a meeting next Wednesday March 21st in Coach Tilley's room during lunch. Get your lunch first, then go to Coach Tilley's room.
9. 8th Grade Students, wanting to try out for HS Cheer. Cheer packets are due by Friday.
10.Art Club will meet again again Thursday, April 12th and Thursday, April 19th.
