Message from Mr. Hajeh: Today and Friday I would like to combine some 5th grade music classes together so they can practice singing in harmony together. I will need these students on the following days when they are in special classes.
- Thursday September 30: Monday, Tuesday, Music classes
- Friday October 1: Wednesday Music classes
 
Applications are now being taken for Yearbook Staff for 2021-2022 for any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader that is interested.  Please pick up an application in the Student Information Center and return it to Miss Stacey no later than 3:00 p.m. on October 8.  There will be 12 spots available and they will be chosen based on their application and teacher recommendation.  We will meet once a month starting in November and possibly more after February.  I will try to work around sports schedules for anyone that wants to be in Yearbook and is chosen so that sports will not prohibit anyone from being chosen.  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Tyler, 7th Grade, Room MS 208.
 
The YMCA is registering now for Volleyball Camp that includes 5th-6th grades.  Registration forms are available at the M.S. Student Info Center and also the YMCA.  The registration deadline is October 5th.

7th Grade Students: Your hall is getting sloppy--do better. Bags go on hooks, band instruments go between Mrs. Cottengim's bench and the corner of the wall, everything else goes inside your locker. Please stop putting things on top of the AC units or on the sills across from the office. Congratulations to Joel Smith (3rd) on his medal-winning performance at the Berryville Back 40 cross country meet on Saturday.  Joel has medaled in all three of his meets this season. The boys team finished 4th in their division on Saturday.
 
MISSING: Bright, blue binder. Was last seen on the playground during 5th grade ticket time. If you accidentally grabbed it by mistake, please bring it back to school. You can drop it off in Mrs. Cottengim's office or Mrs. Stacey's office.

The YMCA is registering now for Volleyball Camp that includes 5th-6th grades.  Registration forms are available at the M.S. Student Info Center and also the YMCA.  The registration deadline is October 5th.  
 
 5-6 grade cross country practice begins this week after school.  You may pick up a form from the middle school office.

5th Quarter will be at Booster Field tonight until 11:00. Crossway is sponsoring the event with food, music, games and more. All high school students are welcome!
 
A+ Tutors: 20 of you have not responded to the VERY important email that Mrs. Cochran sent to you. Read it and respond to it ASAP! Your A+ grade depends on it.
 
FCCLA and FBLA will be going to Silver Dollar City for career day on October 6th. If you want to go on this trip, you need to pay your dues by next Friday.
 
Interact Club volunteer opportunity:  There is an electronic waste collection event tomorrow from 10a.m-12p.m. at Booster Field - volunteers would need to report by 9:45.  It will require some lifting and sorting, and some items may be heavy.   Please see Mrs. Siler or Mr. Carter to sign up.
