Students: Lost and Found will be permanently lost after today. Take a look and claim before you leave. 

There will not be any Homework Lab or Credit Recovery today after school.

We have several copies of the 2017-2018 Gateway Award nominated books in the library. If you read three of them by Feb. 28, you can vote on which book is your favorite to win the Gateway Award.  These books would be great for some Christmas-break reading!

Today is the last day to get a Christmas Hot Chocolate from the Bearbucks Coffee Shop.

GAP meeting will take place during lunchtime and Bear Time today. Pick up a sack lunch in the Bear's Den either when you hear the all-call or when the bell rings for lunch and then go to your GAP Adviser's location. You can find where your GAP group is meeting by looking at the posters on the window in the entrance to the library.  

When we return on Wednesday, January 3rd it will be a maroon day. Schedule will be hand out as you arrive.

1.   Boys who played 7th/8th grade football, there will be a meeting TODAY in Mr. Crewse room at 11:15.  The meeting will take place during lunch/recess with Coach Schwalm.  Please take your lunch to Mr. Crewe's room for the meeting.  7th grade boys will need to get lunch when released for recess then go to Mr. Crewe's room.

2.   TODAY: 2nd Quarter Reward Activities will occur for all students who have had 0 ZAPs or 1 ZAP during the quarter.  (Students with more than 1 ZAP, even if the additional ZAPs have been forgiven, are not qualified to attend).  The activities will occur at the following times in the Auditorium:

7th and 8th Grades:  TODAY from approximately 1:10-3:00 p.m. 
5th and 6th Grades: Thursday, December 21, from approximately 1:10-3:00 p.m. 

3.   ALL STUDENTS:  The lost and found is bursting at the seams and you all walk by it every day at lunch time.  Please take what is yours.  What is left will be hauled off over Christmas break.

4.   Drama club will meet Jan.11th

Volleyball meeting for all girls planning to play volleyball NEXT fall in Coach James's room today during both bear times.  If you are a tier two or three bear time student get your lunch and come to the meeting during your lunch time. 

Students that are making up hours, today is the last day . There will be NO Homework Lab after school on Thursday. If you have already made up your hours you need to give your log sheet to Mrs. Pettit or Ms. Grogan. All log sheets are due first thing Thursday.

There will be a Fine Forgiveness Day in the library today only.  You must have your library book(s) with you to have your fine forgiven.  You can renew the book(s) or turn them in. Please take advantage of this opportunity to get those fines forgiven. I will NOT be forgiving fines again until later in 2nd semester. 

Football meeting at 2:30 today, in the Old Gym. The meeting will be for all returning and new players for the 2018 season. There will be an all call to dismiss students.

We are  still looking for more volunteers to help serve the families This Saturday at MUNCH.  Please call Mrs. Brower to sign up to work a time between 7:45 a.m. and 1:00.  If any clubs want to jump in and help as a group, that would be amazing!  Thank you for considering helping these families out during this important time of year!

Central Ozarks Chess Tournament will be held at West Plains High School tomorrow. The bus will leave from the new gym at 8am.The entry fee is $5, bring snacks or food money. We should be back at the new gym by 4:30pm. Let Serghei know if you are going.
