MIDDLE SCHOOL:
​Today's Menu

1.  Spring Pictures are next Tuesday March 30th. Pick up a flyer at the Student Info Center. You will need to order and pay for pictures online.

2.  There will be a clinic held for 7th and 8th graders interested in Color Guard. 7th grade is welcome to attend the introductory clinic, 8th grade will be the only ones participating in tryouts. Clinic will be held in the band hallway after school.  If you have questions contact Mr. Cochran.

March 29th - April 1st - until 4:30, Introductory Clinic *This is for any 7th or 8th grade students new to color guard to be introduced to some basic moves.
April 6th - April 8th - until 5:00, Try out Clinic *This is for 8th grade students wanting to tryout for 2021 marching season. These days will be utilized to learn the tryout routine. 
April 14th- until 5:00, Try out Day *This is for 8th grade students wanting to tryout for 2021 marching season. This day 8th grade students only will have the opportunity to try out for the 2021 Marching season.

3.  Any 8th grader that is interested in trying out for high school cheerleading for the 2021-22 school year needs to pick up a tryout packet from Ms. Stacy.

4.  Yearbooks are on sale now! Pick up an order form in the Student Info Center or order online at: www.inter-state.com/yearbook with code:52869G

Hallway Music: Today - Student Requests
 
The early morning/ late night practices, the 6:00 am leave times for contests, the hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and determination  have paid off. The following teams are advancing to districts next week after dominating the Area 13 Career Development Events. Give them a congrats if you see them; they have earned it.
 
Ag Mechanics 1st place: Ben Ivins, Quentin Smith, Colton Wood, & Dakota Mayberry
Soils 1st place: Phillip Stewart, Dakoda Smith, Harliegh Bittick, & Easton Crews
Forestry 3rd place: Ashley Kelley, Brayden Willbanks, Cameron Wagner, & Chase Grogan
Dairy foods 4th place: Jarret Lindsey, Wesley Newell, & Katie Goforth
Overall high individuals:  Ben Ivins & Phillip Stewart
 
Choir pictures will be today after school in the new gym. The choir room will be open to pick up your concert attire, so make sure you're ready to go for pictures.
 
The deadline to submit an application to City Hall for the upcoming 2021 pool season  is 4:30 PM, today.

Juniors: Please let Mrs. Dillin know ASAP if you are interested in helping in classrooms during Senior Project Night.
 
Anyone interested in trying out for football and/or basketball cheerleading for the 2021-22 school year needs to pick up a cheerleading tryout packet from the information boxes by Mrs. Jenny’s window.

Show Times are Saturday 6:30 pm & Sunday 2 pm

For those interested in Color Guard: Meet in the band room hallway on the following days.

Prom tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $60 each. Only 4 days left to purchase yours. Next week, they will be on sale in the mornings and at lunch from 10:45-11:15. Remember there is no school next Friday. 
If you plan to invite a guest to prom who doesn't attend our school, you need to get a   
Prom Guest Request Form from Mrs. Jenny and get it filled out. It's due by Monday.
 
Juniors and Seniors: If you are inviting an underclassman or a guest who doesn't go to our school to prom, please pick up a waiver for them from Mrs. Hatch, Mrs. Wilson or Mrs. Cochran. They will need to have their parent or guardian sign it, and you will need to turn it in when you purchase their ticket.
 
You can request songs to be played at prom by going to the school website and                clicking on Prom Info. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Music Request Form. Remember, the songs have to be ones that are good for dancing (slow or fast).
