Juniors and Seniors: There is a dual credit opportunity this spring you may not be aware of. Mrs. Patton is offering CIS 101: Computers for Learning on M3. Tuition will be $102 in addition to a $155 course fee. See Mrs. Patton for more information or Mrs. Munson if you want it added to your spring schedule.
All dual credit registration forms need to be turned into Mrs. Munson ASAP.
A food drive managed by FCCLA and FBLA will go through Wednesday, December 13th. During this period donation boxes for non-perishable food such as green beans or carrots and money collection jars at each GAP room. Donations will be given to Munch to distribute in their Christmas Bags Program which gives necessities to families in need throughout our community.
There is a signup sheet for Bears For A Better Christmas placed on the office window. This annual event is a great way for you to give back to your community and earn some community service hours for your college and scholarship applications! Students are needed to help with activities such as spotting at the 5K fundraiser, toy shopping, setting up the toy room, and helping the families pick out their toys, books, and warm items. See the sign up sheet for details on dates and times. Mrs. Brower and Coach Waggoner are the ones to talk to if you have questions. It takes all of us to make this a great event every year!
The annual Bears for a Better Christmas 5K & 1 Mile Run will be held on Saturday, December 9 at Palenske Field. The entry fee is $20, and the first 30 registrants on race day will receive a t-shirt.
