Today's Menu
Today: Hamburger on a bun, Whole Grain Chips, Baked Beans, Apple, Ketchup and Milk
Breakfast Monday: Muffin, Cereal & Milk
Monday Lunch: Hot Pocket, Mac & Cheese, Broccoli, Grapes & Milk

1.  Today we will be attending the Homecoming Parade and Pep Assembly. The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. at Booster Field.  There will be an all-call at 2:10 p.m. prompting all Middle School classes to line up with their teachers along Ferguson Street in front of the Middle School Building.  Students will need to bring all their stuff as they will be going straight from the parade to the Pep Assembly. From there they will be dismissed from school. All students will be expected to be responsible about throwing any candy wrappers from the parade; leaving wrappers on the ground is not acceptable.

2.  Today-Students belonging to the following Middle School teams will be participating in the Parade:

Volleyball
Football
Mighty Mites
8th Grade Marching Band students
Cross Country
These students will need to be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. on Friday to report to the bus lot to board buses headed to the start of the Parade at Booster Field.  They should take all of their things with them so that they are prepared to leave for home directly from the Pep Assembly following the parade.  


3.  Congratulations to the following students for being approved to begin campaigning for an office on Student Council.  You may begin creating your three posters.  After completing the posters, please bring them to Mrs. Earls or Mrs. Spencer to be approved and  get permission for any flyer you might be handing out as well.
Qualifying students are as follows:
5th grade:
Riley Unruh, Karis Cochran, Chrissy Crudgington, Brenna Ellis, Wyatt Coursey, Emma Grogan, Ronnie Collins, Jamie Anderson, and Corbin Crewse.
6th grade:
Mary Spencer, Kaylee Pendergrass, Will Clarkston, Ephraim Rains, Madison Bay, Colton Stolba, Vivienne Iacovleva, Josiah Wills, Mattie Labbee.
7th grade:
Alex Mattingly, Mason Owens, Winter Wilcox
8th grade:
Harleigh Bittick, Eric Braun, Madison Perkins, Garrett Spence

3.  Knights of the Square Table chess tournament will take place in Bears Den this Saturday, starting at 9 am. Entry fee is $5, all chess team members should attend. Concession stand will be available. We should be done by 3:30pm. See Serghei for info.

4.  Hannah Sorrells will be presenting a play " The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" for her Senior Project. Auditions for the play will be Saturday Sept. 22nd. There will be a variety of parts to audition for. Pick up a flyer in th Student Info Booth for more information.

5.  Today concludes Spirit Week for Homecoming! Students will be expected to be 100%  cooperative with teacher direction in all cases when hats need to be removed during class.

09/25, Tuesday, Cross Country@Mtn.Grove, 5th and 6th Grade only, Bus leaves at 2:30, Meet starts at 4:00 p.m.

09/27, Thursday, Cross Country, Home Meet, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade, Meet starts at 4:00 p.m.

09/27, Thursday, Football, WS@Ava, Game starts at 5:30 p.m.
