1. Students who come to watch Bears football games are not allowed to play football on any of the areas surrounding the field. Students, do not bring footballs to the game. Using other objects such as water bottles to play football is also not allowed. Finally there is no running in the stands; students are to walk at all times when travelling on the walkways and stairways so that all Bears fans can get to and from their seats safely.
2. Next week is Spirit Week for Homecoming! There will be a dress-up theme for each day. Please note as with all Spirit Weeks before, no face painting allowed. Hats will be permitted when they fit the day's theme. Students will be expected to be 100% cooperative with teacher direction in all cases when hats need to be removed during class. Here are the dress-up themes:
RAP Tuesday: wear oversized t-shirts, baggy pants, lots of bling, and baseball caps
Country Music Wednesday: wear plaid, cowboy boots/hats, belt buckles (big ones), and blue jeans
Rock Out Thursday: wear band shirts, faded blue jeans, leather, and flannel shirts tied around the waist
Pride Friday: wear maroon and white, spirit sleeves/socks, and layers!
3. Fifth grade girls white team practice after school in the new gym until 430. Fifth grade Maroon team be at the gym at 5:40 for your game that will start at 6:00. Sixth grade be at the gym at 6:00 your game will follow the fifth grade.
4. There is no school next Monday, September 19th. Teachers will be attending a Professional Development day.
5. Art Club will meet TODAY.
6. Cheerleaders there will be practice TODAY before the bus leaves.

The Star Theater will be holding auditions on Friday, September 30, from 6-8:00 p.m., and Saturday, October 1, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. for a play called CSI: Christmas Scene Investigators (or Who Stole Santa Claus?). The play will include parts for elementary, middle school and high school age actors, so students are invited to the auditions
SPORTS: "Come Support the BEARS" Tonight: 7/8th Grade-Football: Willow vs. Liberty @ Liberty, Game starts at 5:30p.m. Bus leaves at 4:15 p.m.
