1. During all lunch periods today, Mr. Taylor will be showing a video and making a brief presentation about the scrap tire recycling process that helped to create our maroon play surfaces on our playground. We will be learning a lot while we eat today, thanks to Mr. Taylor.
2. 7th Grade- W7 Class: You will need to bring something to work on today in class such as homework or a book to read.
3. A message from Mrs. Pilcher:
7 and 8 grade rehearsals. (6th graders, I will send a list to your teachers and they will only send you if it is convenient for their class time.)
During 2nd lunch recess (11:35 - 11:55) Indians will practice:
Wednesday (April 18); All speaking parts up to "Boston Tea Party" will practice Thursday (April 19); Tea Party Waltzers/ will practice Friday (April 20).
You will need to eat lunch at the first lunch period and come down to my room during 2nd lunch period. You must make sure to remember!!! We only have 1 1/2 weeks left!
4. Drama Club will meet this Thursday.
5. Don't forget this Saturday will be the "Every Kid Healthy Field Day" at WP Elementary from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Sponsored by Ozarks Medical Center. If you need more information, pick up a flyer in the Student Info Center.
6. Junction Hill chess tournament will take place this Saturday, April 21st, in West Plains. Bus leaves at 8:45 a.m. from the new gym, back at 4:00 p.m. Entry fee is $5, bring snacks or snack money. See Serghei for details.
7. Do you sing? Dance? Juggle? Maybe you have some serious magic tricks, gymnastic, karate, or hula hoop skills. If so, now is the time to show us what you’ve got! If you are interested in this year’s Talent Show, to be held on the last day of school, Friday May 18th at 8:30 am, please add your name to the sign-up sheet outside Mrs. Hopper’s office, pick up an information packet from the Student Information Center and return it to Mrs. Hopper NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, APRIL 27TH ! No form = No participation!
Just a reminder, the Talent Show is not a competition but rather a display of talent. Auditions (practice) will be held May 7th and May 8th. I will let you know your audition time closer to that date. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hopper before or after school, during your lunch or between classes with permission from you teacher.
8. Summer School Forms are available in the student info booth. There are separate forms for 5-7th and 8th grade. All forms need to be returned by Friday May 4th.
9. All 6th and 7th graders interested in trying out for cheerleading for the 2018 football season can pick up a packet from Miss Stacey in the Middle School Office.

10.Art Club has been cancelled for Thursday, April 19th. The next meeting will be Thursday, April 26th.

During Bulletin announcements today, please talk with the students about these two opportunities for our Bear Paw of cooperation during MAP testing:
passing quietly in the halls during MAP testing sessions of other grade levels
relocating our lunch recesses to the field below the New Gym on days next week when 3rd and 4th grades are testing
MAP Testing starts in 7th grade tomorrow and Friday.
